Guru Ribeye Sliders
- Ingredients:
- 2 mediumOnions (peeled and sliced)
- 3 tablespoonsOlive oil
- 1lb. Ribeye steak (thin cut)
- 1 dozenHawaiian style rolls
- 2 cupsShredded cheese (sharp cheddar and Monterrey Jack)
- Condiments of choice (mayonnaise, mustard, etc, optional)
- Louisiana Love Seasoning to taste
- Method:
- 1. Place a heavy skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
- 2. Once hot add onions, reduce heat to medium, and cook until well browned stirring often.
- 3. Remove and reserve.
- 4. Seasoning steak with Louisiana Love to taste, and grill until medium-rare (135˚).
- 5. Remove and allow to cool on a plate and reserve juices.
- 6. Thinly slice ribeye.
- 7. Split the whole pack of rolls in half without separating them.
- 8. Dress with condiments (optional)
- 9. Add slices of steak, onions, cheese, and reserved juices.
- 10. Top with other half of the buns and return to the grill for 3-4 minutes on low heat. Using a pizza peel or two large spatulas works great for this.
- 11. Remove from heat and cut individual sliders.
- Lemon Pepper Wing Sauce
- 1 stick of butter
- ⅓cup flour
- ½cup water
- ¼cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh cracked pepper
- ¼ cup Tabasco Raspberry Chipotle Sauce
- Louisiana Love to taste
- Method:
- 1. Melt butter, add flour, cook for 3-4 minutes
- 2. Add water and lemon juice
- 3. Bring to boil and reduce heat, cook for 5-7 minutes stirring frequently.
- 4. Add black pepper and seasoning
- 5. Add Tabasco sauce
Balsamic, Honey, Cilantro Wing Sauce
- Ingredients:
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup cilantro chopped
- Louisiana Love to taste
- Method:
- 1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and stir well.
- 2. Allow to sit for 30 minutes to an hour.
